Flagstaff, Arizona, November 4, 2026 -- Unlocked Potential has announced registration for its 2027 Compete & Rise Youth Basketball League, an affordable recreational program designed to help beginner and developing basketball players strengthen their fundamentals, build confidence, and gain valuable competitive experience.

Beginning in January 2027, the league will provide young athletes throughout Flagstaff and Northern Arizona with a supportive environment that emphasizes skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.

Unlike traditional competitive leagues, the Compete and Rise Youth Basketball League focuses on players who need additional opportunities to learn and improve. Participants will develop essential basketball skills, including dribbling, shooting, passing, defense, and game awareness, while gaining experience through organized recreational competition.

The program also emphasizes character development, encouraging athletes to demonstrate discipline, perseverance, leadership, and respect both on and off the basketball court.

Players will have opportunities to apply their developing skills during games, with the season concluding in an end-of-season tournament where participants can compete for a championship.

The league welcomes beginner and intermediate players seeking a positive introduction to organized basketball or additional opportunities to improve their abilities.

Registration for the 2027 season is open to players in grades two through eight. Parents or guardians registering a participant are asked to provide the child's name, age, grade, gender, skill level, and jersey size, along with parent or guardian contact information.

The registration process also includes a liability waiver. The online form offers basic, intermediate and advanced skill-level selections. Jersey-size choices range from small through extra large. Parents or guardians provide a phone number and email address in the contact fields.

Registration is limited, and divisions may be adjusted based on enrollment and player assessments.
