450 Million Revenue Run Rate, Global Telecom Reach and a New Digital Growth Opportunity Take Center Stage: IQSTEL, Inc. (N A S D A Q: IQST)

Oct 21, 2026

With relationships spanning 600 telecommunications operators, a potential reach of 2.3 billion end users, and fresh momentum in mobile entertainment, IQSTEL is advancing its strategy to transform a substantial telecommunications platform into a higher-margin, multi-vertical technology business.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. - Oct. 21, 2026 - PRLog -- IQSTEL, Inc. (N A S D A Q: IQST) $IQST is entering an important phase in its growth story. The company's October 2026 investor presentation outlines an ambitious strategy built around two complementary businesses: an established international telecommunications operation and an expanding digital services platform designed to capture additional value from its global customer relationships.

Recent developments have added several compelling elements to that story, including a reported $450 million annualized revenue run rate based on July performance, third-party investment research highlighting potential profitability improvements, and the launch of commercial outreach for its mobile-first Microdrama initiative.

For investors following emerging technology companies, IQSTEL's opportunity is not simply to grow revenue. It is to leverage an established global distribution infrastructure to build additional recurring revenue streams, improve margins and expand earnings potential over time.

A Global Platform Built on Scale and Relationships

IQSTEL's October investor deck presents a company with a substantial international operating foundation. Its telecommunications network spans 24 countries across four continents, with relationships involving approximately 600 major telecommunications operators and access to an estimated 2.3 billion end users through customer networks.

That infrastructure represents a significant strategic asset. Building relationships with telecommunications carriers requires technical integration, commercial agreements, billing connectivity, credit relationships and the ability to manage complex international operations.

IQSTEL has developed these capabilities through years of operating experience and strategic acquisitions. Its telecommunications business provides international voice services, SMS and application-to-person messaging, fiber-optic connectivity, contact-center solutions and other communications services.

The company has also reported substantial historical growth. According to its October presentation, annual revenue expanded from approximately $14 million in 2018 to $317 million in 2025, representing more than 20-fold growth over that period.

The strategic question now is how effectively IQSTEL can use this established foundation to expand its newer, potentially higher-margin services.

Latest News: Microdrama Initiative Opens a New Digital Revenue Opportunity

One of IQSTEL's most intriguing recent developments arrived on October 8, 2026, when the company announced that IQSTEL Digital had begun commercial outreach to seven mobile operators representing approximately 93 million subscribers for its mobile-first Microdrama offering.

Microdramas are short, mobile-friendly dramatic stories designed for viewing on smartphones. IQSTEL's strategy is to work through existing operator relationships to distribute this content and potentially generate recurring subscription revenue through carrier billing.

The opportunity is particularly interesting because IQSTEL already has the telecommunications relationships and commercial infrastructure needed to pursue distribution agreements.

The company's stated 2027 operating objective is to reach 300,000 active paid monthly Microdrama subscriptions. Its previously disclosed illustrative model estimates potential annualized profit contribution of $1.8 million to $3.6 million at that subscription level. These are modeled outcomes, not current subscriber figures or guaranteed financial results.

The broader ambition is substantial: IQSTEL has previously outlined a potential distribution audience of approximately 40 million users through mobile operators by the second quarter of 2027. Reaching that objective will depend on commercial agreements, integrations and successful launches.

Edison Research Introduces a New Valuation Perspective

On October 1, IQSTEL announced that Edison Investment Research had initiated coverage with a $6-per-share valuation assessment. The research forecasts $653 million in 2027 revenue and $12.5 million in adjusted EBITDA, supported by the anticipated Ultranet acquisition, digital services expansion and operating efficiencies.

These estimates offer investors an additional framework for evaluating IQSTEL's potential evolution from a revenue-focused telecommunications business toward a more profitable technology platform.

Importantly, Edison's report was commissioned and paid for by IQSTEL. Its valuation and forecasts represent the research firm's estimates, not a guaranteed share price or company-issued financial guidance.

The Road Ahead: Profitability and Digital Expansion

IQSTEL's October presentation highlights a management target of increasing adjusted EBITDA rate from approximately $2.7 million to $15 million through organic growth, a planned acquisition and digital services development.

Its broader digital strategy includes:
  • Artificial intelligence and intelligent communications designed to expand technology offerings for telecom operators and enterprises.
  • Fintech and digital content, including the emerging Microdrama subscription opportunity.
  • Cybersecurity and additional digital services, using established customer relationships to pursue new commercial opportunities.

The company also reports a capital structure without convertible notes or warrants in its October investor deck, while emphasizing financial discipline and per-share value creation.

For investors, the central opportunity is the potential combination of continued telecommunications growth, incremental acquisition contributions and a larger share of revenue from digital services.

The Bottom Line for $IQST Investors

IQSTEL brings together several compelling growth drivers: a global telecommunications platform, $207 million in first-half 2026 revenue, a $450 million annualized run rate based on July revenue, and new commercial initiatives designed to monetize its extensive distribution network.

With management pursuing its $430 million 2026 revenue objective and a $1 billion revenue target for 2027, the next phase will center on execution, profitability, acquisition integration and converting digital service opportunities into paying customers. These targets remain forward-looking and depend on business performance.

The $IQST investment story is increasingly about what it can build on top of the infrastructure it already has. If the company successfully translates its global reach into recurring digital revenue and stronger margins, it could create a broader growth platform than telecommunications scale alone would suggest.

For investors researching emerging technology and communications businesses, IQSTEL's latest developments provide several milestones to follow as the company works toward its next stage of expansion.

Tennis tournament hopes to entice aspiring Alex Ealas

Tennis is receiving much attention these days due mainly to Filipino player Alex Eala who continues to make the country proud in international tournaments. This is partly why the Philippine Columbian Association (PCA) is optimistic that it will draw over a thousand entries for the 43rd PCA Open 2026.  The annual tennis tournament is special this year as it has partnered with Palawan Group of Companies whose founder and chair Bobby Castro is committed to supporting Filipino athletes and the growth of local sports. “Earlier this year, in May, we held the Palawan Open where many players, both seasoned and starting, competed. Aside from the prizes at stake, it was a venue for veteran players to showcase their talents and inspire the youth,” Castro said in his opening remarks. Eala’s participation in Pala-wan-supported tournaments early in her career also highlights the value of local competitions. “Here at Palawan Group, we believe that Filipinos have so much potential. We just need to provide opportunities for them to develop their skills, gain experience, and show the country, and maybe later, the world, what they can do,” Castro said. “This is one of the reasons why we are proud to support the Palawan PCA Open as a major sponsor. For us, this isn’t just about supporting this tournament but it is also about supporting the athletes themselves and helping create more opportunities for Filipino talent to grow,” he added. Dubbed the “Wimbledon of the Philippines,” the PCA Open will run from Nov. 2 to Dec. 13, at the PCA clay courts in Paco, Manila. The tournament is expected to draw more than 1,000 entries across eight categories. The junior events begin on Nov. 2, while the men’s and women’s Open main draws are scheduled Dec. 5 to 13.  Founded in 1907, the PCA has a long history of bringing people together through sports and community, with tennis remaining an important part of its tradition. The PCA Open continues to bring together players of different ages and skill levels, from junior competitors to those vying for the men’s and women’s Open titles. “We want to keep the sport accessible, give players opportunities to compete, and inspire more Filipinos to experience the excitement of the game. We thank Palawan Group for supporting this shared goal,” said Ivan Ong, PCA Open Committee representative. Athletes devote years to training and development, demonstrating discipline, dedication, and perseverance. Each player who steps onto the court brings extensive experience while continuing to refine and elevate their skills. “We want to support that journey and help give our athletes more opportunities to compete and excel. At the same time, we also want to encourage more Filipinos, especially the youth, to excel in tennis,” Castro said.  During the tournament launch on Oct. 15, members of the media participated in a mini-tennis clinic, where coaches and young tennis players introduced them to the fundamentals of the sport through a series of on-court activities. “As a proudly Filipino company, we see supporting Philippine tennis as another way to put our commitment to the communities we serve into action,” said Bernard Kaibigan, chief marketing officer of the Palawan Group of Companies. “Beyond the tournament itself, we hope initiatives like the Palawan PCA Open will encourage more Filipinos to discover the sport and see it as something they can learn, enjoy, and pursue,” Kaibigan added. By backing established tournaments such as the PCA Open, Palawan Group hopes to help sustain opportunities for Filipino players. Additional information and tournament updates are available through the official social media accounts of the Palawan PCA 43rd Open.

Is sugar toxic?

Oct 20, 2026

Is sugar toxic?

Sugar isn’t poisonous. But in the amounts we tend to eat, sugar can act a lot like poison.  Let’s be clear about this. The sugar your body needs is glucose — the fuel for your brain and muscles. We get it naturally from rice, fruit, milk and vegetables. This is not the problem.  The real culprit is added sugar: the white sugar, corn syrup and sweeteners mixed into soda, bread, sauces, dressings and so-called “healthy snacks”. The World Health Organization recommends less than six teaspoons a day. Many of us get 3 to 4 times this amount daily without realizing it.  What really happens What happens when sugar enters our bodies that fast and that often? Your blood sugar spikes. Insulin surges to clear it. If you do this daily, your cells will soon start ignoring insulin. This is the first step to type 2 diabetes. Your liver turns the excess sugar into fat which could lead to inflammation, fatty liver, high blood pressure and gout. Other side effects are damaged blood vessels and the risk of heart disease.  The good news: you don’t need to quit sugar forever. That slice of cake is not dangerous. You see, toxicity is about frequency and dose.  The key is fiber. For example, sweetened coffee and donuts before lunch is totally different from a serving of ice cream after a meal. Liquid sugar is the culprit because it hits your bloodstream with no fiber or protein as a buffer. Healthy reminders There is no need to give up sugar. You just need some practical tips. Drink smart. Start with water before anything else. Swap soda, juices, milk tea and smoothies for fresh juices, unsweetened tea, black coffee or lemon water.  Eat to blunt the spike. Apply the “protein-fiber-fat rule”. Have fish, lean meat, eggs and vegetables before rice or pasta. Exercise daily. Do you know that a 10-minute walk after meals can bring down sugar by 30 percent ? The secret is to keep moving.  Shop smarter. Read the ingredients. If you see corn syrup, maltose or dextrose, do not buy it. Those first three ingredients means it’s mostly sugar.  Eat home cooked meals. It’s safer.  Manage cravings by drinking one glass of water. Wait 15 minutes for the craving to go away. For those with kidney disease or diabetes, the margin is smaller. Pair limited carbs with protein and watch your portions. Your doctor can come up with a plan for you. The takeaway Sugar isn’t evil. It is a condiment. It is not food. So treat it that way. Sugar once consumed needs to be burned. So, exercise is a must.  Choose whole food before processed options. Pick the whole fruit instead of the juice. Drink water, not soda.  If you make one change this week, then you will see positive results. In 10 days your taste buds will reset. Then suddenly, an apple tastes better than apple pie.  Affirmation: “ I am as sweet as honey.” Love and light.
